Waimate Community Radio 87.7 FM
We are broadcasting 24 hours a day 7 days a week with a varied musical line up of great tunes from the 50's through to the latest when no announcers are present.
We have 6 volunteer announcers presenting shows that reflect their own tastes and are always looking for more suggestions from the community on what they would like to hear.
We are a community radio here for the community with notices and local news. Any local volunteer organisation is welcome to advertise their meeting and activities at no cost and our rates for commercial businesses are very generous. Our studio and gift shop is located at 50 Queen St Waimate and is manned by our announcers and other volunteers. We sell a range of local crafts and giftware, as well as a range of second-hand CD's and DVD's
